About Noelle

Welcome.

I'm a mom of 4 kids, Olympic medalist, World Champion, and Author who loves living life to the fullest. I have spent the past 2 decades inspiring others on how to get back up from the bottom and rise to the top.

My Journey

Just one year before the 2006 Olympic Games, I was ranked #1 in the world and feeling stronger than ever. Then a 1500-pound bobsled struck me during a training accident at our Olympic trials, shattering my leg — and my Olympic dream.

I could’ve stopped. Honestly, part of me wanted to. But with faith, family, and the support of my amazing husband (who built my next sled from scratch), I came back and won World Championships the following year. And eight years later, I stood on the podium in Sochi, silver medal in hand, with my family waiting in the stands.

That moment was voted the United States Olympic Committee’s “Moment of the Games.” And it’s a moment I’ll never forget — not because of the medal, but because of everything it took to get there.

Why I Speak

I didn’t always plan to become a speaker. But after sharing my story for the first time, I started hearing from people who said it helped them change the way they looked at their own struggles — and that changed me, too.

I realized that what I had gone through — the injuries, the heartbreak, the comebacks — wasn’t just about skeleton racing or chasing medals. It was about resilience. It was about hope. It was about learning how to choose courage, again and again, even when things don’t go as planned.

And when I saw how that message impacted others — how it gave people strength to face their own challenges — I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself.

Now, whether I’m speaking to a boardroom, a stadium, or a classroom, I show up with one goal:
to help people rise — stronger, clearer, and more determined to live life on purpose.
